2nd of august past yesterday. alhamdulillah, everything went well except for the part that, the food umi ordered was overloaded. aunt prepared too much food for the guest. sigh, one big tub of food gone to the bin. no one could possibly finish it up even after aunts and cousins packed some back home, also distribution to neighbours. started off the day at 7 am in the morning. did some spring cleaning and some quick cooking of dishes for lunch. that lasted for about 5-6 hours. aunt mazita and nameera arrived and of we went to grab some grapes, boasters and mint chocolates for the event and 8 months old married couple. that aside, proceeded to packing of rice and traditional kuehs umi baked for guest to take back home. and at the same time, nameera and me sneaked to the room to play 2 games of snake and ladder & ludo! that alone lasted for 3 hours. guest started to arrive by 4 pm. and what did they do? they continued with the game. fun fun fun! =D 
 while waiting for the others to arrive, some chit chatted, the boys made themselves busy with their PSP, and kak Su, chats with her bf (:

 not long after, the crowd arrived. after some prayers said, it was time for food! this time round, umi didnt want to bother herself with washing tonnes of cups and plates. thus, she made the decision to serve all food on BIG round trays. a total of 4 person could eat at one tray. trust me, its nicer eating this way than eating on plates. like umi always say, "makan berebut-rebut. best!" and oh! i didnt have a hard time washing those trays too! took me only about, 30 mins to get everything done? (((:
 everything ended at around 10.30pm. that time span was solely for prayers and food :( after which, one by one started to disperse and make their way back home. seriously, this is what i hated most for yesterday. how can i not, when i didnt even get to migle and chit chat with the rest of aunts, uncles and cousins? worst still, the married couples (refering to kak iza and abang ayie) promised to stay over yest night but they too ended up going back to johor that very night. tsk! my dreams was crushed. what i wanted was only some pleasant and quite time with the family, for us to share our antiques. but none of it happen. just so you know, i've treated kak iza and abang ayie (not forgetting kak fida, abang anor, nadia, najib, nameera, kak ziela, kak suhaila) like my own brothers and sisters, and getting to spend some time with them meant a lot to me. oh wells, lets just forget about this. just make sure that you reserve some time during raya or earlier to make up for this, alright? (: the very last spring cleaning lasted till 12 am. wrap up the day with a warm bath, and off the mohamed & shariff's family went to bed! that was the time i waited most. :D a BIG thank you to mohamed and family for staying over and help us out the whole time, from the start to the end! it was much appreciated =DD also, thank you to aunts, uncles, cousins and guest who've came to make this event a successful one. it was for all of us and those who've left us. big hugs!
